Young Artist Competition Concert Saturday

A concert in Ramsey showcasing the musical talents of local teens from area high schools is happening Saturday. Don Bosco Prep’s Young Artists’ Scholarship Competition will feature a vocal performance by a Ramsey student.

Soprano singer Kristina Walz from Ramsey will join 12 other local teenagers to perform at Bosco’s annual Chapel Concert. After the concert, one of the 13 finalists will be chosen to win a $1,000 music education scholarship.

To be chosen for the performance, Walz and the other finalists went through two rounds of competition against other local entrants into the scholarship competition.
