MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — The Roxbury Arts Alliance opens its summer season with "Little Women, The Broadway Musical," running four performances at Citizens Bank Theater in Succasunna starting May 30.
Based on Louisa May Alcott's 1868 novel, the Tony Award-nominated musical follows the four March sisters — Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy — as they come of age in Civil War-era New England while their father serves away at war.
The cast features Natalie Crespolini as the spirited Jo, Sarah Kowalcheck as the romantic Meg, Kayla Del Valle as the selfless Beth and Cailin Brennan as the determined Amy. Hilary Beirne plays their mother Marmee and Jennylind Parris plays the influential Aunt March. The supporting cast includes Scott McKinley as Mr. Lawrence, Matthew North as Laurie Lawrence, Hunter Chung as Mr. Brooke, Victoria Romero as Clarissa and Alex Maron as Professor Bhaer.
Performances are scheduled May 30 and June 6 at 7:30 p.m. and May 31 and June 7 at 3 p.m. General admission is $25; student tickets are $15.
Citizens Bank Theater is a fully accessible venue located within the Horseshoe Lake Municipal Complex at 72 Eyland Ave., Succasunna. Tickets are available at roxburyartsalliance.org or by calling (973) 945-0284.
