RANDOLPH, NJ - Randolph Township landlords are being reminded of an approaching June 30 deadline to schedule visual lead hazard inspections required under New Jersey's Lead Safe Certification Law.
The township has partnered with LEW Environmental Services to help landlords comply with the state law, which requires certain rental properties to undergo a visual inspection to assess for lead hazards.
Landlords who received a notice or own a rental property in Randolph Township are encouraged to visit lewenvironmental.com/lead/nj-lead-law/landlords/randolph/ to determine whether their property requires an inspection or qualifies for an exemption.
Questions about the law or exemption eligibility should be directed to LEW Environmental Services.
