RANDOLPH, NJ — Randolph Township will conduct a special storm-related branch collection beginning next week to dispose of debris left behind by the storms that moved through the area this past weekend.
The collection will be held on Thursday, July 16.
Residents are asked to place all storm-damaged branches and brush at the curb no later than July 16. Because crews will make only one collection pass, debris placed out after that date may not be picked up.
The collection is limited to brush and branches from recent storm damage. Leaves, vines, stumps, building materials, routine yard waste and other non-chippable materials will not be accepted.
Township officials also ask residents to keep debris piles clear of storm drains, mailboxes, sidewalks, parked vehicles and utility lines to allow crews to work safely and efficiently.
The Department of Public Works is currently focused on storm recovery efforts, including clearing main roads, repairing drainage basins and preparing for roadway milling and resurfacing.
