RANDOLPH, NJ — Families looking for a less frightening Halloween experience can head to Veterans Community Park for Randolph's upcoming Trail of Treats.

The township's low-scare Halloween event is set for Saturday, Oct. 24, from noon to 2 p.m. at 100 Calais Road.

Designed for sensory-sensitive guests ages 2 to 10, the event gives children a chance to walk the trail during daylight hours and play Halloween Bingo.

A hayride has also been added to this year's festivities.

The township says adults can attend at no cost, although admission details for children are not listed.

If rain interferes with the event, the rain date is Sunday, Oct. 25.
