The Randolph Township Health Department continues to monitor the Novel (new) Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak and to work in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Health and Morris County Office of Health Management to ensure the community is prepared for any local impacts from this international health concern.

A coronavirus is a type of common virus that can infect your respiratory tract and can spread much like cold viruses. They tend to circulate in the fall and winter.
The United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is the lead federal agency responsible for tracking the disease and coordinating national preparedness efforts. In New Jersey, preparedness activities are headed by the New Jersey Department of Health with assistance from the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management, county and local health departments.
