Greater Middlesex & Morris Habitat Seeking Sponsors for Gala

The fun-filled evening on February 27 will feature a cocktail reception and plated dinner, silent and live auctions, a wine pull and music.

Greater Middlesex & Morris Habitat for Humanity (GMM Habitat), a major builder and leading advocate for affordable housing in New Jersey, is seeking sponsors and donors to support the 20th annual Hearts & Hammers Gala. The 2025 gala will celebrate GMM families and loyal supporters while raising funds for the organization.

This year’s event will be held on Thursday, February 27 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at The Westin Governor Morris Hotel located at 2 Whippany Road in Morristown, N.J.

The evening’s spotlight will be on the Hearts & Hammers Gala honoree presentations. Gala honorees for 2025 include: Yvonne Lopez, N.J. Assemblywoman, with the Leadership Award; GAF Corporation with the Community Champion Award; Derek Oates, Principal, Roofing Innovations, with the Veterans Partner Award; and Bishop Donald Hilliard Jr., Senior Pastor of Cathedral International, with the Foundation Builders Award.

The fun-filled evening will feature a cocktail reception and plated dinner, silent and live auctions including sports memorabilia, jewelry, sporting events, dining and experiences, a wine pull and music. Guests will hear inspiring stories about family journeys to homeownership and the impact a safe, decent and affordable place to live has on their lives.
