Morris County 4-H Introduces New Cooking Club
Brand new 4-H Cooking Club is looking for new members

Randolph – A new 4-H Club is seeking members interested in wetting their culinary appetite for cooking. It’s hard to deny that cooking and baking are extremely important life skills that all children will someday need. Why not have a lot of fun learning?
Tomorrow’s Chefs 4-H Club hopes to inspire future bakers, restaurant owners, and YouTube stars through different recipe challenges at club meetings where kids will expand their knowledge of ingredients, cookware, and the science behind a delicious dish.
Tomorrow’s Chefs 4-H Club will be meet the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at the County College of Morris. This club is currently accepting youth members in grades 8-13th (one year past high school).

Kelly Dziak, 4-H Program Associate, recommends the new cooking 4-H club for youth who are interested in expanding their culinary skills, and build new friendships. “Since this is a new 4-H club in Morris County, teen members will have the opportunity to design the club to fit their interests and needs.”
Nearly six million boys and girls are in 4-H nationwide. Locally, 4-H serves over 1,000 youth, in Morris County. Children from all backgrounds and interests are involved in 4-H. Projects and activities cover a wide range of interests including animals, outdoor education, science, arts and crafts, and community service. 4-H youth members are assisted by more than 200 adults serving as volunteers in Morris County.

The 4-H Youth Development Program is part of Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Morris County, an educational outreach program of Rutgers University in partnership with federal and county governments and private sector support.
