COVID-19: Motor Vehicle Commission Pushes Back Most Facility Openings by Eight Days

The state has announced that most in-person transactions at New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission sites, which had been scheduled to restart on Monday, June 29, will be delayed for one week.

The state’s Phase Two reopening of those facilities has now been put off until, Tuesday, July 7, while the MVC text notification system is updated.

However, road testing and inspections at MVC facilities in Randolph and elsewhere across the state will still start next Monday, June 29, as 6/29 as scheduled. For more information visit the NJMVC website.
