21 Giving Women To Be Honored At Junior League Luncheon
The women volunteer with a variety of organizations in Monmouth and Ocean counties.

SHREWSBURY, NJ — The Shadowbrook Estate will be the site when the Junior League of Monmouth County honors 21 women at its 2017 Women Making a Difference Community Volunteer Award Luncheon on Nov. 3.
Dorothea Bongiovi will present the award and help recognize all honorees and their organizations at the fourth annual Women Making a Difference Community Volunteer Award Luncheon.
The award recipient’s organization will receive a $1,000 grant from the Junior League of Monmouth Countyin honor of her contributions to the community. The honorees are as follows:

The Junior League of Monmouth County reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to volunteerism. Its mission is to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of woman and improve communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
The Junior League of Monmouth County created the Women Making a Difference Luncheon to recognize the many valuable contributions being made by women volunteers in our local community. Additionally, the luncheon is intended to increase awareness of the importance of volunteering by recognizing volunteers who give assistance to the community and receive no remuneration for their efforts.
