TINTON FALLS, NJ — Jersey Mike’s is set to open a new space at Bell Works’ upcoming Fort Monmouth location, Inspired by Somerset Development recently announced.
Located in the space previously occupied by the Commvault building in Tinton Falls, Bell Works Fort Monmouth will be one of three “metrobubs” across the U.S., joining locations in Holmdel and Chicagoland, IL.
In an email to Patch, Bell Works officials confirmed that Jersey Mike’s will be opening a space in their Fort Monmouth location as development continues there.
In a 2026 Q1 report from Colliers, the Tinton Falls Jersey Mike’s location is listed under “significant lease activity,” and described as being 70,000 square feet.
"We are thrilled to welcome a homegrown brand of this caliber to Bell Works Fort Monmouth,” said Ralph Zucker, CEO of Inspired by Somerset Development. “It’s a strong validation of the Bell Works vision and the success of our ‘metroburb’ model.”
“Adding Jersey Mike’s to our roster of tenants reinforces Bell Works as a vibrant, collaborative hub and a true destination for the community,” Zucker continued.
Inspired by Somerset Development announced plans for their reimagining of the former Commvault headquarters toward the start of 2025.
Originally constructed in 2014, Commvault HQ hosted a range of amenities, including open-concept workspaces, conference rooms, a fitness center, a cafeteria, outdoor spaces, walking paths and recreational areas.
Now, Inspired is in the process of enhancing the cyber resilience and data protection company's 276,900-square-foot property under the Bell Works brand, with plans to start leasing to local companies and organizations seeking high-quality experiential office and retail spaces, with amenities and offerings for employees.
“The design of Commvault’s headquarters is a perfect fit for the vision and ethos of the ‘Metroburb’ model we have developed at our highly successful Bell Works New Jersey and Bell Works Chicagoland properties,” Zucker said in 2025. “Having already developed in the Fort Monmouth area, acquiring this property to create a more intimate version of Bell Works is a natural next step for us.”
Though Bell Works Fort Monmouth is still in the process of leasing and developing their space, the building is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for guests to enjoy the complimentary wi-fi and work from their open public spaces.
Guests and their pets can also take a stroll along the outdoor walking path, though the Fort Monmouth location is not dog-friendly inside the building.
