Marquee Classic Movies Celebrates America with Special Screening of "Glory"

Following the successful room-flled style excitement of June's immersive screening of Airplane!, Marquee Classic Movies with Debbie Higgins and Joe DeIorio invites movie lovers to
celebrate America's 250th anniversary with a special screening of the Academy Award-winning Civil War epic "Glory" on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at the Basie Center Cinema House in Red Bank.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the film beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The evening will transform the theater into a celebration of Americana, encouraging guests to wear their favorite red, white, and blue attire for a patriotic costume contest. The winner will receive complimentary passes to a future Marquee Classic Movies event.

Directed by Edward Zwick and starring Matthew Broderick, Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman, and Cary Elwes, Glory tells the inspiring true story of the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, one of the first African American regiments to serve in the Civil War
