New Wellness Room Opens At Red Bank Catholic High School

RED BANK, NJ — Red Bank Catholic (RBC) High School has officially opened a new Wellness Room on its Broad Street campus, the school recently announced.

On Thursday, the school held a ribbon-cutting and blessing
ceremony to mark the next chapter of the school's student wellness initiative, developed in partnership with Conscientia Health.

The event fell on World Suicide Prevention Day, within National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, timing both organizations say reflects their shared commitment to student mental health.

The Wellness Room is part of a broader initiative between RBC and Conscientia Health that includes a wellness curriculum focused on mental health awareness, resilience, and coping strategies; educational programming workshops; and expanded support pathways for students and families.

"This is about creating a culture where wellness is foundational to student success," said Nicole Wall, RBC Student Assistance Counselor. "As RBC continues to expand opportunities and
strengthen student support systems, we remain committed to exceeding the needs of the whole child academically, spiritually, and emotionally."

"We didn't choose today's date, the timing found us," added Dr. Simbiat Adighije (Dr. Sim), Founder of Conscientia Health, who has led the partnership. "But it's a reminder of why this work matters. Too many young people carry real struggles quietly, and too many adults around them don't know until it's a crisis."

"This room is one answer to that: a place where a student can be seen and supported before things reach that point," Adighije continued. "We're proud to build that alongside Red Bank Catholic."

The Wellness Room includes a private consultation space, a group and workshop area for peer support sessions, and a self-guided check-in tool connecting students directly with a clinician
when needed.

The initiative is part of R.I.S.E. Teen Mental Health, a program extending Conscientia's integrated care model into school communities.
