RED BANK, NJ — Just a few weeks after a movie was rumored to be shooting at Delicious Orchards, Kevin Hart has been spotted filming in Red Bank.
According to a report from NJ.com, the movie star was seen on Broad Street on Monday and Tuesday with Henry Cavill for an upcoming spy movie with Netflix.
The same project was rumored to be the reason for Delicious Orchards' mysterious three-day closure at the start of September.
In an online post, the beloved market later confirmed that filming was taking place there while the store was closed, though a movie name was not provided.
According to Hart's IMDB page, he and Cavill are currently working on an upcoming spy comedy for Netflix.
The untitled film follows rival spies who cross paths in a Lamaze class when their wives become friends, forcing them to "reluctantly become partners as their double lives collide in hilarious and dangerous ways."
Alongside Hart and Cavill, actors Jason Isaacs, Justine Lupe and Aja Naomi King are also listed as starring in the film, which is being directed by Joseph McGinty Nichol (also known as McG).
On Tuesday, RedBankGreen reported that chairs on set of the movie held the production name "The Serpent and the Snake," while Netflix bulletins advising residents of filming taking place were titled "Spy Duo."
Jersey Cookie Girl, a bakery on Mechanic Street, also posted about the film, referring to it as "The Spy Duo project" filming "right here in Red Bank."
The bakery said it even brought snacks to the film set for Hart, Cavill, and the cast and crew to enjoy.
"From our little Red Bank bakery… to a Hollywood set," the bakery said. "This is definitely one of those pinch-me JCG moments!"
"Hope Kevin & Henry are ready to find out why we say…Sharing sweetness, one cookie at a time."
