Calvin T. Carhart, 89, Red Bank and Marathon-Florida Keys, Florida died November 18, 2010 at home after a short illness, During World War II, Mr. Carhart enlisted in the US Army Air Corp and flew 83 combat missions over France and England, including the D-Day invasion at Normandy, France as well as the St. Lo Breakout. He served in the Army Air Corp Reserve after the war. He was employed by Bradley Radio Service, which became Monmouth Radio Supply Company in Tinton Falls and where he became manager and eventual owner of the firm. He worked there for a span of 38 years.
He was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Audrey and Charles Senion. Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Ada; four sons,, John of Eatontown, James of Manasquan, Jay of Red Bank and Jeffrey of Maryland; eight grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. His extended family included seven nieces and eight nephews.
