The Kathryn Barnett School of Dance, based in Red Bank for many years, will be relocating a few miles away in Middletown and merging with Allegro Dance Acacemy.
As of the summer of 2013, Allegro and Kathryn Barnett will be at the Allegro locatio at Union Square Mall, Route 35.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Kathryn Barnett School of Dance, commemorating the many years of dance and dedication from many people, and the beginning of a new journey for both dance schools.

Allegro’s owner, Cathy Stucko, and Kathryn Barnett have been friends for many years, and share many of the same educational values and dedication to community service.
Having spent much of her childhood in the Red Bank dance studio, and with many of the current students second generation Kathryn Barnett dancers, this is a big step for Kathryn Barnett and her staff.

Through the years, they decided to join forces to make the studios stronger and bring together teachers and talents to be the best for all the dancers.
While each school will retain their names, they will blend their staff to continue to strive toward the mission of teaching dance excellence and life-long skills.
In this growth, Kathryn Barnett gains larger dance spaces, a spacious parking lot, and a secure hallway entrance and waiting area.
