This post is to let you know about a special savings discount that’s happening at the new Ocean State Job Lot store that is scheduled to open in East Shrewsbury at the former Super Foodtown location on Newman Springs Road in early June.
We’re pleased to announce our 2014 “Silver Salute” discount days, beginning on June 5th and ending on June 11th. This is a 25% discount in the store, open to all persons aged 62 years or over with a valid ID proving their age. Please note that this offer will not be advertised, so we’re hoping that you can help us spread the word throughout your community.
Job Lot sells an array of brand name, first quality merchandise at a fraction of typical prices. Items range from household goods and pet supplies to apparel, shelf-stable food and seasonal products such as gardening, outdoor and pool supplies. Some of our larger items such as generators, air conditioners and gas grills are offered at a 15% discount (and there are a few items excluded from the discount altogether), however this program is a great opportunity to make each shopping trip during that week even more affordable.
