On Saturday, November 23 seven students of all ages gathered for a complimentary Master class on songwriting and rhythm given by one of our friendly university trained instructors. Students discussed where song ideas come from, how to use their names to make music, how to use rhythms to create music, how to develop those ideas and took a short quiz on music fundamentals.
After that part of the class, each student had an opportunity to perform one piece of music they are working on, and got some coaching on ways to keep improving (students also got lots of applause).
