Armed Man Robs Woman At NJ Transit Office In Red Bank: Report

RED BANK, NJ -- An armed man robbed a woman at the NJ Transit Bus office Tuesday and police are seeking any tips on his whereabouts, according to a report.

The Asbury Park Press reported Red Bank police were alerted to the robbery about 7 a.m., police said. The armed man approached a woman near the bus office on Central Avenue and demanded her purse, the report said. No injuries were reported.

The robber is described as a 6-foot-tall black man wearing a maroon jacket, the report said. Anyone with information is asked to call Red Bank police headquarters 732-530-2700.
