Back To School: Red Bank School District 2022-23 Calendar

Students return to the Red Bank District schools Sept. 6. Here are some dates to keep in mind as you plan the new school year.

RED BANK, NJ — Back-to-school planning is well underway in the Red Bank district, with the school calendar available to help parents and students plan for the 2022-2023 school year.

The first day of school is Sept. 6, and the district reminds parents that September Packets (including bus/teacher assignments) will be available at Red Bank Primary School from 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.-6:30 p.m. on both Aug. 17 and 18.

All preschool to Grade 8 families may go to this one location to gather their materials. If your child has a district Chromebook, you must bring it for inspection. All fines must be paid prior to receiving your child’s schedule and bus pass, the district said on its website.

The Red Bank Borough public schools are comprised of nearly 1,400 students in grades preschool through 8, the district says on its website. The Red Bank Middle School houses grades 4 to 8, the Red Bank Primary School houses grades Preschool to 3, and several off-site locations and providers house our free full-day preschool program for all children ages 3 and 4 in Red Bank. After graduation, students attend Red Bank Regional High School or a variety of public and private academies.

  • First day of school: Sept. 6
  • Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-25
  • Christmas Break: Dec. 26- Dec. 20 (Monday-Friday)
  • Spring Break: April 7, 2023 to April 14, 2023
  • Trimester 3 ends: June 16, 2023/Eighth-grade promotion to be determined
