Bon Jovi Serving Furloughed Workers For Free

Come to Bon Jovi's Soul Kitchen in Toms River Wednesday from 12 to 2 p.m. for a free meal if you are a furloughed federal worker.

RED BANK, NJ — JBJ Soul Kitchen, the restaurant started by rocker Jon Bon Jovi to feed the homeless and those in need, announced they will also be serving furloughed federal workers at no charge.

Soul Kitchen is offering this at both their locations, in Red Bank and Toms River. They are doing this through a partnership with the Murphy Family Foundation, a non-profit started by Gov. Phil Murphy, who made millions working for Goldman Sachs in the '90s.

Soul Kitchen in Red Bank (207 Monmouth Street) was open on this past Monday, January 21 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day) from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. to provide meals for furloughed federal workers and their families. They will again open Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 12-2 p.m. offering the same deal at their Toms River location (1769 Hooper Ave, Toms River.)
