Green Drinks Red Bank Returns to a Venue Near You
After a short hiatus, Green Drinks is returning to Red Bank. Here's how to join the fun.
Green Drinks?
Ohhh - so close, good guess.... but no, it has nothing to do with tinted St. Patrick’s Day beer or spinach fiber smoothies. Rather, it’s an informal monthly get-together of folks that are interested in a broad range of environmental topics.
The idea is to meet up once per month at a local venue (typically a pub or restaurant) to chat, learn, network, and possibly, debate. This is not your typical stuffy meeting. In fact, it’s not even a meeting - no Robert’s Rules, no minutes, no boring agenda items to suffer through. All this is accomplished while sipping your favorite soft drink or adult beverage.
For background, Green Drinks is a global phenomenon with local emphasis. Red Bank had a chapter from 2010 through 2012, but has been in hiatus since. Now, with new blood organizing the effort, it’s time to launch Green Drinks Red Bank 2.0.
