Red Bank woman Discovering the Work Moxie of America...on a 2900-mile bike ride!

On the heels of an extraordinary first mission last summer, LifeMoxie President & Red Bank resident Ann Tardy is launching Moxie Ride 2 on May 26 to discover the secret to work moxie – the courage to create the remarkable that makes us all love our jobs! Ms. Tardy, who is the author of Ambition on a Mission: 9 Strategies for Taking Life by the Horns and Moxie for Managers: The Secret to Evolving from Manager to Leader is eager to cycle 2,900 miles to uncover the professional pulse of the country.

The adventure begins in Key West Florida on Memorial Day weekend and ends Fourth of July week in Bar Harbor, Maine. During her East coast trek, Ms. Tardy will interview people in towns along the route to learn about their work moxie. She is enthusiastic to discover what they love about their jobs and their managers, and what drives them to do the extraordinary at work every day.

The LifeMoxie Company has created a “Virtual" Moxie Ride to give people everywhere an opportunity to join in the adventure. Anyone can follow the trek through all major social media channels and by submitting their own short video interview.  By participating in the Virtual Moxie Ride, people will be entered for a chance to win an iPad.

A press event and kick-off celebration is scheduled for Friday, May 11, 2012 from 6:00 -8:00 pm at Bike Haven in Fair Haven, NJ, the community bike shop supporting the team. Ms. Tardy will be on site to answer questions about the Moxie Ride, as well to preview the documentary from the 2011 Moxie Ride. Members from the media are encouraged to attend.  ALL attendees will get an extra entry for a chance to win an iPad during the virtual ride!
