Join us for "Music That Changed America" as the John Luckenbill Pops Band celebrates Black History Month. The concert features music by Louis Armstrong, Michael Jackson, Duke Ellington, W.C. Handy, Scott Joplin, and Count Basie. From ragtime and blues to swing and pop, these artists shaped the sound of American music. Their contributions broke barriers and created lasting influence across generations. Come enjoy these timeless musical classics.

The concert is fully funded through the Music Performance Trust Fund (MPTF) established by the International Federation of Musicians Union, Local 399, Asbury Park. Beginning in 1948, the MPTF was created to provide admission-free, quality music performed by professional musicians for the public’s education and enjoyment.
