Jersey Artist Registry Opening
Ellen Martin, founder of the Jersey Artist Registry, is presenting an exhibition featuring the work of thirty-one artists. The show includes a wide range of styles and media, from Brian Hallas's surreal photography to Gary Steven Groves's hard-edged geometry to Jodi DiLiberto's mystical fractals. "With this variety, I hope everyone can find something they love," says Martin.
The JAR is an online registry showcasing the work of leading New Jersey visual artists. Martin wanted to create an easy-to-use, one-stop resource for art lovers, collectors, interior designers, and gallery owners. Interested parties are welcome to contact the artists directly, as Martin accepts no commissions.
The opening cocktail reception will be held at The Oyster Point Hotel on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event's final day is June 29th. The Oyster Point Hotel is located at 145 Bodman Place, Red Bank, NJ. The event is free and open to everyone. Free parking is available on the premises.
Martin has curated more than 70 exhibitions and events during her tenure as The Oyster Point Hotel's Director of Art Programming. She received her BA in Art History from Brooklyn College.
