The Red Bank Family YMCA invites community members, families, friends, local businesses and supporters to come together for the 2026 Red Bank Family YMCA Community Celebration on Tuesday, October 6, from 6–8 p.m. at Proving Ground Waterfront Dining, 56 Shrewsbury Ave., Highlands, NJ. The evening will celebrate the people, partnerships and programs that help make our community stronger. 
This special event will also honor Jennifer Devi Chauhan, Executive Director of Project Write Now, as the recipient of the Red Triangle Award, recognizing her contributions and positive impact in the local community.All proceeds from the event support the Red Bank Y Annual Campaign, helping ensure that YMCA programs and services remain available to all who need them.

After more than half a century, astronauts have returned to the vicinity of the Moon with Artemis II! Following a flawless launch, the crew of four looped around the Moon before returning safely to Earth. Frank O'Brien, a NASA Solar System Ambassador, will discuss the events and accomplishments of the mission, along with NASA's exciting plans for permanent settlements on the Moon. Frank O'Brien has spent his career at the intersection of space exploration, aviation, and computing. His accomplishments include serving as an editor for the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal and Apollo Flight Journal, as well as authoring a well-regarded book on the Apollo Guidance Computer. He has also lent his expertise to museums including the Cradle of Aviation and Infoage Science/History Learning Center, configuring Apollo-era exhibits and lecturing on the Apollo computer and space history.

The history of the Sand Hill Indians living on the northern shores of Monmouth County can be traced back to the 1700s.&nbsp; The Minisink Trail, which crosses Monmouth County, was a major migration and trade route, a small part of which still exists unpaved.&nbsp; Presented by Claire Garland, Director of Sand Hill Indian Historical Association.

On Saturday September 12th from 10AM until 4PM. at the ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS MARINA&nbsp; (off First Ave.) you can once again stroll the aisles searching for that item you want or just need to have.
Our 46th Annual Flea Market will feature antiques, collectibles, Various Crafted items, and other new merchandise as well as second time around finds..
80+ vendors will be offering a vast array of merchandise from household items, linens, furniture, glassware, tools, toys, clothing, bottles, pottery, books, old postcards, fishing and marine equipment and jewelry vintage and new. If you can name it, it will probably be there. Something for everyone.
The Society will also have its Treasures’Or table and be selling food and refreshments to enjoy.
You can also participate in our chance auction for nine baskets full of goodies.
So plan to join us for a great day of searching for that special item, and supporting the Society. All money raised to benefit the restoration and repair of the Strauss Mansion Museum located at 27 Prospect Circle and our cultural&nbsp; programs throughout the year.
