Candidates File For School Board Elections In Red Bank
Elections are being held for seats on both the Red Bank Borough and Red Bank Regional Boards of Education. Elections will be Nov. 8.

RED BANK, NJ — Elections here are being held for both the Red Bank Regional Board of Education and for the Red Bank Borough Board of Education.
In the Red Bank Regional Board of Education race, four candidates have filed for the three, full-term seats open.
The candidates who filed petitions this week are:

- Emily A. Doherty, incumbent
- Adam Cohen
- John Garofalo, incumbent
- Memone Paden Crystian, RB Students 1st
There is also one, one-year unexpired term open on the Red Bank Regional Board of Education.

- W. Scott McBride, incumbent
For the Red Bank Borough Board of Education, three candidates have filed petitions for the three, full-term seats open.
The candidates are:
- Erik Perry, incumbent
- Suzanne Viscomi, incumbent
- Benedict Forest, incumbent
The list of candidates, filed on July 25, will not be official until after Sept. 6, as candidates may withdraw from the ballot before that date. New candidates may be placed on the ballot up until that date if new offices are to appear on the ballot, as provided by the school board administrator, said Monmouth County Assistant Supervisor for Elections Cassandra Achille.
The election for school board members is held on General Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8. School boards have until Sept. 9 to submit a public question to appear on the Nov. 8 ballot, Achille added.
