The Bucs (11-0) have surprised everyone (except perhaps themselves) this season, which is a dramatic turnaround from two years ago when Red Bank had just one victory. The Bucs have solid victories over playoff teams, including a 24-21 win over Red Bank Catholic, victories over Ocean Township during the regular season and the opening round of the playoffs, and a 30-14 win over sectional finalist Raritan, which is playing for the Central Jersey Group II title on Saturday.

Rumson (9-2), the Bucs’ Ridge Road neighbor, handed Lakewood (a South Jersey Group III playoff team) its first loss of the season, and defeated Matawan twice, including a 24-13 win in the playoff semifinals, and its losses are a 13-6 defeat by unbeaten St. John Vianney and a Thanksgiving loss to unbeaten Shore Regional, which is contending for the Central Jersey Group I championship.
If you go to the game, tickets are $9 for adults and $3 for seniors and students. Parking is $10.
