Driver Ejected From SUV In Crash On Garden State Parkway, NJ State Police Say
The crash occurred after the driver lost directional control, ran off the road, struck the guardrail and overturned, police said.
TINTON FALLS, NJ — A driver sustained minor injuries after they were ejected from their vehicle in a crash on Wednesday night, NJ State Police Trooper Christopher Postorino told Patch.
At 9:29 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to a crash on the Garden State Parkway north express lanes at milepost 108.9 in Tinton Falls.
Based on a preliminary investigation, Postorino said a Tesla SUV was going north when the driver lost directional control of the vehicle, ran off the road to the left, struck the guardrail and overturned.

The driver was ejected during the crash and sustained minor injuries, Postorino said. They were then brought to an area hospital.
Information on the driver's age and identity was not released.

As of Thursday morning, Postorino said the crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available at this time.
