DWI Checkpoint In Shrewsbury Friday Night, Oct. 11

SHREWSBURY, NJ — The Monmouth County DWI Task force will conduct a DWI checkpoint in Shrewsbury this Friday evening, Oct. 11 to detect drivers under the influence of alcohol and or drugs.

The checkpoint will run from 9 p.m. Friday through 1 a.m. Saturday on Hwy. 35 south. Task force members and officers from the Shrewsbury police department will pull cars from the southbound lanes into the Shrewsbury Plaza parking lot to determine driver's sobriety, said Allenhurst Police Chief Michael B. Schneider, task force coordinator.
