Nebraska Theatre Caravan’s national tour of A Christmas Carol brings Charles Dickens’ fable of Ebenezer Scrooge’s Christmas Eve redemption to life. A spirited cast of two dozen actors with a live orchestra faithfully portrays all the beloved characters from Dickens’ 1843 novel. Their exceptional voices and lively dancing render traditional carols like “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “Away In a Manager” and “Here We Come A-Wassailing” as a musical theatre treat for the entire family. This celebrated production recreates Victorian era London with over 100 costumes, a magnificent set evoking a Currier and Ives print, and ghostly special effects! Probably the most widely seen staging of Dickens’ holiday classic, this production delights over 100,000 in more than 60 cities nationwide each holiday season.
