Nia is movement class that combines dance, martial arts and healing arts such as jazz, modern, aikido and yoga into one class. Each class uses easy to follow choreography set to soul-stirring music (Bollywood, Jazz, New Age, African, Latin, etc) to take you from warm up, to "get moving", conditioning, cool down and floor play. Nia is a class for all fitness levels, as the teacher provides three levels of intensity during the routines. If you love to dance, love yoga, love to nurture yourself and love to have fun doing it, then Nia is for you! Classes are taken barefoot in comfy dance or yoga wear.
