The show will feature curated looks from Clara's Closet, which provides people and families in need with access to quality clothing.

RED BANK, NJ — A local nonprofit’s new fashion show is set to bring a “celebration of style, self-expression and renewal” to Red Bank this spring.

On Saturday, April 18, Lunch Break’s fashion show “Living Color: A Lunch Break Runway Show” will take place in the Lunch Break Community Dining Room on Drs. James Parker Blvd.

The vibrant event is set to feature community members, clients, volunteers and staff as runway models, showcasing curated looks from Clara’s Closet.

Led and styled by June & Joy Martin (founders of June and Joy Boutique at 2 Bridge Ave in Red Bank), the show aims to bring a fresh, creative vision to the runway.

Each look highlights the transformative power of clothing while embracing the spirit of spring, renewal, growth and rejuvenation, through a dynamic palette of colors, event officials said.

“Working with Lunch Break has been such a meaningful experience for us,” said June and Joy Martin.

“We’ve had the true pleasure of meeting incredible individuals and helping style looks that reflect who they are,” they continued. “Seeing clients feel confident, empowered and celebrated through fashion is what this is all about.”

Set to take place at Lunch Break’s Community Dining Room, Living Color is more than a fashion show, officials said — it’s a celebration of dignity, confidence and community.

The event underscores the mission of Clara’s Closet, which provides individuals and families in need with access to quality clothing, empowering them to look and feel their best.

“Fashion has the ability to uplift and transform,” said Shani Love, Lunch Break Program Manager. “This event is about more than style, it’s about confidence and giving our community a platform to shine.”

At the event, attendees can expect an evening filled with joy, as models take to the runway dressed “to the nines” in thoughtfully styled ensembles.

The fashion show is set to take place from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, in the Lunch Break Community Dining Room at 121 Drs. James Parker Blvd.
