
According to an obituary posted in the Star Ledger, Judge Patrick McGann, a former State Assemblyman and municipal attorney for Red Bank died in his home Wednesday at the age of 84.
McGann, who began his career by practiciing law in Red Bank,served as New Jersey deputy attorney general and was the municipal attorney for, in addition to Red Bank, Union Beach, Sea Bright and Keansburg.
McGann was appointed to the Superior Court in Monmouth County in 168 where he served in the General Equity, Civil, Criminal and Chancery divisions. He was presiding judge of the Chancery Division until his retirement in 1997, the obituary states. He served on the court on a recall basis until 2007.
