Philosophy Class in Red Bank beginning Sept 21, 2015

The School of Practical Philosophy, an international non-profit organization, will offer a FREE 10-week philosophy class in Red Bank.

The School of Practical Philosophy, an international non-profit organization, is pleased to offer an upcoming 10-week Philosophy Works session beginning Monday September 21, 2015. No exams to pass or diplomas to attain. But, there is something of real value to gain -- a life of more freedom, peace and joy. We hope you will join us.

The aim of philosophy is to set people free: free from pressure and free from worry, free to grow, free to be themselves, and free to be happy. This ten session course, Philosophy Works, looks at life and its meaning, the world and its causes. It considers what holds us back and what sets us free. Based on the classic philosophies of East and West, it invites students to see life as a testing ground for applying the words of the wise to daily living through practical exercises.

The classes are lively and dynamic. No previous study of Philosophy is required. Each session addresses a new philosophic principle and students report back on the effects of practicing it. Over the course of the term, students find an increase in inner happiness, strength, wisdom and the freedom to be themselves.
