New Fried Chicken Chain To Open 1st NJ Location: See Where

TINTON FALLS, NJ — A national restaurant chain that offers fried chicken sandwiches, tenders and more is set to soon open its first New Jersey location.

Daddy’s Chicken Shack will open its first restaurant in the Garden State at 180 Wayside Road in Tinton Falls.

Though an official opening date isn’t listed on the Chicken Shack website, the newest location is targeting mid-June for a grand opening, according to a report from NJ.com.

Outside of the chain’s New Jersey location, Daddy’s Chicken Shack currently has two other restaurants: one in Leander, Texas, and one in Littleton, Colorado.

According to the Chicken Shack website, the restaurant chain started in 2018 when chef and entrepreneur Pace Webb was asked to create fried chicken sliders for a celebrity catering event.

“One of the guests, Mandy Moore, boldly proclaimed that this was the ‘best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever tasted,’” the website reads.

From there, Webb and her partner, Chris Georgalas, launched Daddy’s Chicken Shack in Pasadena, California.

By 2021, Dave Liniger, co-founder of RE/MAX and the founder of Area 15 Ventures, took notice of Webb and Georgalas’ desire to franchise, and by 2023, he acquired full ownership of the brand.

Today, Daddy’s Chicken Shack offers menu options ranging from fried chicken sandwiches to chicken tenders and bites, a chicken salad, biscuits, burritos and more.
