'Golden Bachelor' Welcomed To Shrewsbury By Local Contestant
"Golden Bachelor" Gerry Turner visited contestant Theresa in Shrewsbury, but we'll have to wait to see how she fared in the rose ceremony.

SHREWSBURY, NJ — Hollywood and "The Golden Bachelor" came to Shrewsbury in Thursday's episode, as Gerry Turner visited Theresa, one of three remaining finalists, to meet her family, including her grandsons.
Scenes of sailboats on the river, downtown Red Bank and Theresa's leafy Shrewsbury home base came into view in the "hometown visit" episode. He also visited the two other families of the remaining contestants.
Theresa's daughter, son-in-law, three grandsons and sisters all got to meet Turner.

And he and Theresa had another chance to discuss their feelings for each other.
The trio of grandsons was hilarious, imitating the "duck-mouth" selfies they take with their stylish grandmother. The adults all welcomed Gerry in the unusual circumstance of having a television crew record the visit.

But Turner seemed to be comfortable and very appreciative of the significance of the moment: Theresa has been deeply affected by their connection after her lifelong partner and patriarch of the family passed away several years ago.
The couple had a chance to open up even more about their feelings as they enjoyed a summertime Ferris wheel ride at Seaside Heights, all part of the Jersey Shore visit.
Theresa's was the first of three hometown visits as the "mature love" spinoff of the popular ABC "Bachelor" franchise is nearing its conclusion.
Turner also visited Faith, 61, a local radio host, in Benton City, Wash.; and Leslie, 64, a fitness instructor from Minneapolis. Theresa, 70, is a securities professional.
With two roses to offer among the three women, only Leslie received a rose on Thursday night. Turner couldn't bring himself to choose between Theresa and Faith, feeling so deeply for all three, he said.
Such emotional highs and lows have been part of every show. Turner has been pained at the necessity to reject any of the 22 women who were introduced at the beginning.
His final decision is looming - but not this week. The cliffhanger involving Theresa and Faith will be resolved, meaning two contestants will remain. The finale episode airs Nov. 30, according to ABC.
Episode 7 on Nov. 9 will feature the women on the show in "The Women Tell All." More episode updates will follow.
