‘Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash’ Relocates Broad Street Store
The comic book shop, owned by filmmaker and New Jersey native Kevin Smith, will be moving its storefront down the street.

RED BANK, NJ - Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash, famed director Kevin Smith’s larger-than-life comic book store, will be moving its storefront after 23 years down Broad Street.
Located at 65 Broad St., the shop will be moving a down to the corner of Wallace Street, the site of a former rug and home goods store.
Smith announced the move on Wednesday on social media. The current location will be open until Dec. 28.

“As hard as The Stash was hit by Covid closures and other setbacks that made 2020 such an unprecedented disaster, Jay and Silent Bob are clearly too stupid to comprehend that the world doesn’t need them or their store anymore - so they’re building a better mousetrap just down the street,” Smith wrote.
“The secret of the Stash is out: as of JANUARY, you’ll be finding us a few doors down from the same place we’ve been as a brick-and-mortar store for two decades! Look for lots of new features and fun as we start our 24th year in business with a new lease on life (and locale)!”

Smith’s cinematic universe-inspired pop-up shop Mooby's, which made its way to Red Bank in September, has made its way to several U.S. cities and Canada over the course of 2020.

Smith, of cult classic “Clerks”, “Mallrats” and “Chasing Amy” fame, also recently directed 2019’s “Jay And Silent Bob Reboot”.
