RED BANK, N.J.—After two years of cancellations and modifications, residents in cities and counties across the country are looking forward to many of the traditional Independence Day activities that mark the summer holiday. July 4 is tomorrow, so there's still time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.
We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Red Bank and Shrewsbury so you can start planning now.
Here's what's in store this July 4 for the Red Bank and Shrewsbury areas:
July 4 Festivities
What: Oceanfest in Long Branch.
Where: Oceanfront, Long Branch.
When: July 4, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with fireworks at 9 p.m.
After not operating for the past two years due to coronavirus, Oceanfest will return to Long Branch in the summer of 2022.
Oceanfest is a live music, food truck and entertainment festival held yearly every Independence Day on the oceanfront in Long Branch.
Held annually for the past 30 years now — except for the two years it did not happen due to the pandemic — it is a very popular summertime festival that attracts thousands of people from up and down the Jersey Shore.
This year, Oceanfest will be July 4, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with fireworks at 9 p.m.
