This summer, give your child an exciting and enriching international experience without leaving the area! The Y’s Arts Institutes offer children 2½ - 15 the opportunity to explore a variety of creative activities in the visual and performing arts. The arts camps are held at the Junior League in Rumson, located at 55 Cross Street, and offers something for every young artist with activities from cooking to sculpture.
“Art camps give children the opportunity to explore what cultures are like around the world,” said Camp Director, Hayley Nelson. “Through different mediums such as cooking, sculpture, dance, and even book making, kids will learn about the world around them while discovering their inner creativity and imagination,” she added.
Stacey Lastella, Vice President of Camping and Outreach, noted the Junior League for being a supportive community partner and providing the space. “We appreciate the Junior League’s ongoing support to nurture the development of children,” Lastella said.
