Kim Levin ALASKA Exhibit at the Monmouth County Library in Shrewsbury

ALASKA: Landscapes and Dogs from The Last Frontier exhibits at Eastern Branch

Stunning photographs by Kim Levin of the dramatic Alaskan landscape and the people and dogs who call Alaska home will be on display at the Eastern Branch Library in Shrewsbury throughout the month of November.

Levin, a photographer who specializes in pet portraiture, took the images on a recent “once in a lifetime” trip to Alaska. She focused many of the photographs on what she calls the state treasure of Alaska – the huskies that run the grueling 1,049 mile Iditarod race every winter.

Meet Levin at a reception at the Eastern Branch Library on Thursday, November 13 at 6 p.m. and view her exhibit. The Library is located at 1001 Route 35 in Shrewsbury 07702, and the exhibit is open daily through November during regular library hours.

Her company, Kim Levin Photography, combines her passion for photography and her love of animals. Levin has published 19 books including the best-selling Cattitude and Why We Love Dogs. Her books have sold more than a half million copies and have been published in eight languages.

Levin’s images have been licensed throughout the world on calendars, fine art prints, cocktail napkins, journals, and easel books. She has licenses with Calypso Cards, Image Conscious, PPD, Sharper Cards, Brownlow Gifts and Hi-Look Inc. Her greeting card and gift product line Molly&Fig™ appears in gift and stationary stores throughout the U.S.
