Law Firm Announces Addition of Red Bank Location

Hall Booth Smith, a law firm with national offices including in Bergen and Passaic counties, has now opened an office in Monmouth County.

RED BANK, NJ— A national law firm with offices that include two sites in Bergen and Passaic counties is now in Monmouth County.

Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) now has an office at 328 Newman Springs Road, near the Garden State Parkway, in Red Bank. This new location complements HBS’s other New Jersey locations in Saddle Brook and Woodland Park as the firm expands, a news release about the opening said.

“We are delighted to deepen our presence in New Jersey by opening an office in Red Bank and staffing it with four experienced attorneys. We look forward to serving the complete legal needs of clients in the region for many years to come,” said Alex Booth, managing partner at Hall Booth Smith.

The attorneys practicing in the Red Bank are:

Joseph F. Herbert III is a partner and is the co-chairman of the Construction Practice Group. As a practicing litigator since the mid-1990s, he has participated in and supervised all facets of a civil litigation caseload, as both defendant’s and plaintiff’s counsel, in both state and federal court. He has experience in high value, high profile cases, the news release said, including multi-million dollar construction defect cases and wrongful death/murder cases, among others. He joins HBS after spending the last eight years as a managing partner in a New Jersey law office where he prepared and implemented firm procedures and budgets and hired and oversaw attorneys and staff. He earned his J.D. from New York Law and holds a B.S. from St. John’s University.

Dorine Sirota is a partner. She comes to HBS with experience in general negligence, complex tort cases, and construction defect litigation. An accomplished trial attorney, she has been certified as a civil trial attorney for the past 15 years. She received her J.D. from Pace Law School and holds a B.A from SUNY Binghamton.

Martin Sullivan is of counsel. He has experience in the area of general liability in many areas. He is admitted to practice law before the courts of the state of New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. He received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and holds a B.S. from Rutgers University.

Matthew J. Lang is an associate, focusing on complex construction and general liability matters. Matthew has represented clients in all stages of litigation from initial pleadings through appeals, including expert and fact discovery, and motion practice. Matthew has also represented clients in immigration and criminal defense matters before the Immigration Court, Board of Immigration Appeals, and New Jersey State Courts, respectively.He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Duke University School of Law, and holds a B.A., summa cum laude, from Monmouth University. He also earned his LL.M. in Transnational Crime and Justice from the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute, based in Turin, Italy (in conjunction with the University for Peace, San Jose, Costa Rica).
