Most people don’t look up. I see it when I’ve arranged for potential buyers to visit a house that’s for sale. They look straight ahead, they look left and right, they look down, but they rarely look up.
As a REALTOR® I know that sometimes you can learn an awful lot by looking up: peeling paint or a stain on the ceiling may indicate a leak or water damage. Some older ranches have attic storage space that’s accessible by a trap door in one of the bedroom closets. If you don’t see a set of pull-down stairs in a hallway, you might incorrectly conclude that there’s no access to an attic.
Do you look up? If so, you should have noticed the unusual thing in the two photos attached to this post. One shows it as a driver would see it when driving down a busy street in one of the neighboring towns, and the other is a close-up. It’s right up there, and easy to see if you know where to look. Do you know where this is?
