Monmouth County DWI Checkpoint For Friday, Nov. 3

The checkpoint is part of the ongoing efforts to deter impaired driving.

NEPTUNE, NJ — The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be conducting a DWI checkpoint Friday into Saturday to detect drivers under the influence of drugs or alcohol, authorities announced Thursday.

The checkpoint run from 10 p.m. Friday through 2 a.m. Saturday on Route 33, said Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer, the task force coordinator.

Task force members and officers from the Neptune Police Department will pull vehicles from the westbound lanes into the Jumping Brook Plaza parking lot to determine the drivers’ sobriety, Palmer said.
