New Jersey’s oldest collaborative divorce group gives back to community!

JSCLG participates in Red Bank Event for Lunch Break

Red Bank, New Jersey, August 19th, 2017 – Jersey Shore Collaborative Law Group (JSCLG) is New Jersey’s oldest group dedicated to collaborative divorce. Collaborative divorce is an alternative form of dispute resolution, designed to foster the resolution of divorce and family law related issues respectfully and equitably, without court intervention. Like mediation and arbitration, it takes place outside of the purview of the court system, with the goal of reaching a fair settlement, but without the pressure and uncertainties which accompany litigation.

JSCLG brings together matrimonial attorneys, financial professionals and mental health professionals to foster the growth of the collaborative divorce process in New Jersey. In 2017, the JSCLG adopted Lunch Break, a local charity dedicated to life’s basic necessities – food, clothing, and fellowship – for community members in need. JSCLG continues to support Lunch Break through donations of food and clothing. On August 19th, 2017, JSCLG will be participating in Lunch Break’s Annual Community Picnic Softball tournament by sponsoring a team, the “Clobbering Collaborators” The JSCLG encourages the community at large to join them at the Lunch Break event at Count Basie Park in Red Bank on August 19th 10am - 2pm in support of this local charity.
