New Jersey State Senate Recognizes Hawkswood School On Fortieth Anniversary Celebration

Special Education School Reaches Forty-Year Milestone Helping Students Thrive

Eatontown, NJ – The New Jersey Senate recently recognized Hawkswood School, a state-approved private special education school in Eatontown, as it celebrated its 40-year anniversary of providing exceptional services to students with disabilities. The proclamation, signed by Senate President Steven Sweeney, identifies Hawkswood School as adding to the ‘strength, success, and vitality of the community.’

Since 1976, Hawkswood School has been a respected provider of high quality special education services to children ages 3-21 with autism and other complex, multiple disabilities. With the mission of fostering empowered and contributing members to their families and communities, Hawkswood School has successfully provided a comprehensive and individualized education for all of its students.

In commemoration of its ruby anniversary, Hawkswood School invited testimonial statements from teachers, service providers, parents, and students to illustrate the impact of the school’s programs on the student’s lives.
