TINTON FALLS, NJ – An intersection improvement project at the intersection of County Route 13A (Sycamore Avenue) and County Route 51 (Hance Avenue) in Tinton Falls has been completed, Monmouth County officials announced Wednesday.

The improvements include a traffic signal, a flashing red ‘Signal Ahead’ sign, minor widening, pavement resurfacing, upgraded signage and reflective striping along all approaches to the intersection, according to county officials.

“The improvements ... were performed to improve the safety of the intersection and the County worked closely with the Borough of Tinton Falls to minimize the impacts to the surrounding community,” Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone told Patch.
