NJ Man Dies In Crash On Route 18 In Monmouth County

The man's vehicle left the road, entered the median and crashed into several trees, police told Patch.

OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ — A 43-year-old man has died following a crash that occurred on Route 18 over the weekend, Ocean Township Police told Patch.

On Saturday at 4:30 p.m., officers responded to Route 18 northbound, between Route 66 and Deal Road, for a report of a motor vehicle crash.

According to police, the vehicle left the road, entered the median, and crashed into several trees.

The driver, identified as Aliaksand Beliankou, 43, of Tinton Falls, was unresponsive and ultimately determined to be dead.

An investigation into the crash was conducted by Patrolman Ryan Krug of the Traffic Safety Bureau.
