‘Pizza Pope’ Teams Up With Red Bank Eatery For Weekend Pop Up
An Atlantic Highlands pizzeria will be joining forces with Red Bank's Birravino to offer an exclusive menu this weekend. Here's where:
RED BANK, NJ - He's known as the "Pizza Pope" of New York, but he's bringing some good news to New Jersey this weekend.
Anthony Mangieri, the creative force behind New York City-based Una Pizza Napoletana, will be making a stop at his satellite location in Atlantic Highlands on Saturday with a specialty crafted menu created in partnership with Red Bank restaurant Birravino.
According to Mangieri's social media, the Atlantic Highlands restaurant is set to feature unique items such as meatball pizza, zuppa di fagioli, "Big Vic" salad with salami, provolone and olives and almond chocolate cake. Margherita and marinera pizzas will also be available.

This weekend’s celebration of Italian fare serves as just one of three planned pop-ups for the Atlantic Highlands site. Last month, Mangieri partnered with New York institution Raffetto’s for a one-day event that included menu items such as bolognese sauce pizza, ravioli salad and chocolate noodle pudding.

NJ.com reports that Mangieri is slated to launch a pop-up event on March 20 alongside West Village Italian eatery Don Angie.
Una Pizza Napoletana is located at 91 First Avenue ini Atlantic Highlands. It's open 2 to 8 p.m. Fridays through Sundays.
