RED BANK, NJ — Residents should be aware of a police training exercise set to take place on Wednesday, borough officials said.
Starting at 8 a.m., the exercise will take place in the area of Bridge Avenue and Oakland Street.
During the training exercise, officials said residents may notice a large police presence in the area, including police and police vehicles from neighboring towns.

Though residents may notice an increased presence of authorities, officials are emphasizing that this training is not related to Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE).
"This activity does not pose a risk to public safety," borough officials said. "We appreciate the community's understanding as our officers take part in this important preparedness training."
